Thibouville L'Amy guitar 19th Century

The Label on this guitars makes sure this instrument
can be dated around 1865. Remarkable regarding the old
design of the soundbox and the moustache bridge.

The Thibouville L'Amy company had even more elaborate
decorations on their higher graded guitars.
This guitar underwent a neck reset.

The back picture of this instrument clearly shows the
black painted neck and the common use of this
dark Rio Palissander wood for the back in those days.
On this instrument the wellknown EON
tuners were used. They still work perfectly!
